The Genshin Impact 5.4 Banner and event details have been officially revealed for the latest update, titled Moonlight Amidst Dreams.

In the fourth update since Natlan's introduction, we're heading back to Inazuma to encounter some fresh and familiar faces. Additionally, there will be several quality-of-life improvements, along with a total of five limited-time events.

Below, you can learn about the 5.4 release date and time, who the new and returning characters are, and the 5.4 Banners and events schedule for the upcoming Genshin Impact patch.

Image credit: HoYoverseDuring Phase 2 of the 5.4 Banner schedule, we'll see the return of the 5-Star Hydro sword-wielder Furina, showcased on her Chanson of Many Waters Banner, and the 5-Star Cryo catalyst-user Wriothesley on his Tempestuous Destiny Banner.

These Phase 2 Banners will start on Tuesday, 4th March, and continue until Tuesday, 25th March - the day prior to the anticipated release of version 5.5.

All of the boosted 4-Star characters on Furina and Wriothesley's Banners are:

• Charlotte (Cryo)
• Chongyun (Cryo)
• Mika (Cryo)

• Mizuki (Dawn's Drifting Reverie Banner - Phase 1): A new 5-Star Anemo character who uses a catalyst.
• Sigewinne (Romaritime Meluserenity Banner - Phase 1): A returning 5-Star Hydro character who uses a bow.
• Furina (Chanson of Many Waters Banner - Phase 2): A returning 5-Star Hydro character who uses a sword.
• Wriothesley (Tempestuous Destiny Banner - Phase 2): A returning 5-Star Cryo character who uses a catalyst.

Additionally, there will be a new 5-Star weapon in the version 5.4 Phase 1 weapon Banner: the Sunny Morning Sleep-In (catalyst), which belongs to Mizuki.

Genshin Impact 5.4 events

The Genshin Impact 5.4 update introduces:

• Mizuki's Story Quest.
• No keys required to unlock Story Quests anymore.
• Automatic Artistry returns to TCG for Heated Battle Mode.
• New TCG character and monster cards.
• Leyline overflow event.
• Level-Up plans and goals added to the Training Guide.
• New filters for character and weapon menus.
• 'Auto add materials' now available in the weapon upgrade menu.
• Ability to access the Tubby menu and purchase materials and Furnishings from anywhere inside the Serenitea Pot.

• Enchanted Tales of the Mikawa Festival - The main event in Inazuma, featuring a main story and minigames. Runs from 14th February to 3rd March, and requires an Adventure Rank of at least 30 and completion of the 'Ritou Escape Plan' part of the Chapter 2, Act 1 Archon Quest. Rewards include the new 4-Star 'Tamayuratei no Ohanashi' polearm and its refinement materials, the usual character and weapon materials, Crown of Insight, and Primogems.
• Realm of Tempered Valor - A combat event that becomes progressively more challenging as you ascend the floors. You can also participate in co-op mode. Runs from 24th February to 10th March, and requires an Adventure Rank of at least 20 and completion of the Prologue Act 3 'Song of the Dragon and Freedom' Archon Quest. Rewards include a new Saurian-themed Namecard and the usual character and weapon materials, along with Primogems.
• Traveler's Tales: Anthology Chapter - Interact with old characters to complete 'Anecdotes'. Runs from 12th February to 25th March, and requires an Adventure Rank of at least 28 and completion of the Chapter 1, Act 3 'A New Star Approaches' Archon Quest. Rewards include the usual character and weapon materials, along with Primogems.
• Invasive Fish Wrangler - Fishing minigames where you can compete against others in co-op or team up with others in co-op. Runs from 5th March to 17th March, and requires an Adventure Rank of at least 20 and completion of the Prologue Act 3 'Song of the Dragon and Freedom' Archon Quest. Rewards include the usual character and weapon materials, along with Primogems.
• Reel Ad-Venture - A footage-editing event in Fontaine. Runs from 12th March to 24th March, and requires an Adventure Rank of at least 20 and completion of the Prologue Act 3 'Song of the Dragon and Freedom' Archon Quest. Rewards include the usual character and weapon materials, along with Primogems.

Genshin Impact 5.4 launched on Wednesday 12th February. It followed the standard maintenance schedule for new updates, with 5.4 releasing at 3am (GMT). Due to time zone differences, 5.4 actually launched in the United States on Tuesday 11th February at 7pm (PT).

For other time zones, the Genshin Impact 5.4 release date and time was:

• West Coast US: Tuesday 11th February, 7pm (PT)
